Projects are larger and more complex than ever before, yet the onus is on the business to maintain key SAP S/4 Architect resources, Cloud Infrastructure Architects, and often SAP Commercial Architects to establish requirements, plan and forecast accurate costs, and subsequently source an appropriate SI partner. Libertas has in-depth knowledge of the available commercial models such as Perpetual, Cloud and SAP RISE, with detailed understating of all cost elements ranging through project deployment costs, SAP licence costs/subscriptions, and Hyperscaler infrastructure costs. This service is available both inwhen establishing the programme of work, in addition to as well as ongoing services as an independent third party for SI partner management and governance.

Design Authority

Libertas provides key Architect resources assigned directly to the client side to validate SI partner outcomes and ensure the best solution delivery. These resources are all Senior Architects with in excess of 15 years’ SAP experience, with multiple end-to-end SAP deployments.

      Programme Procurement

      Challenge
      Large NZ food manufacturer required financial clarity and risk reduction on all aspects of the planned SAP S/4HANA engagement after the business case escalated beyond available budget.
      Outcome
      Libertas undertook a commercial assessment and negotiation for software, infrastructure and SI services. Resulted in renegotiated software BoM, SI vendor contracts and a revised deployment model to adopt Hyperscaler infrastructure in place of HEC gaining substantial financial advantage.

      SAP S/4 Transformation

      Challenge
      One of Queensland’s largest utility companies embarked on a Digital Transformation encompassing SAP S/4HANA provisioned on Hyperscaler infrastructure.
      Outcome
      Libertas was engaged at programme inception to define and develop the business case, in addition to outlining the delivery roadmap and approach applicable to the highly regulated environment. The team successfully governed all procurement activities and negotiations for each of SAP licence construct, Hyperscaler and SI partner.

      Commercial Roadmap

      Challenge
      Queensland government owned energy provider had embarked on a comprehensive S/4 transformation programme. Existing and planned SAP licence purchases were not aligned to the programme’s direction nor were they commercially efficient.
      Outcome
      Libertas defined and executed a remediation plan to reset the SAP licence construct successfully aligning the to business needs and achieving a substantial 5yr TCO saving.
