- Responsible (R): Who will primarily complete the task.
- Accountable (A): Who is ultimately accountable for the task’s success and quality, ensuring it is completed on time and to standard.
- Consulted (C): Who needs to provide input to support the task?
- Informed (I): Who needs to be updated on the progress of the task?
The golden rule of RACI is that only one person or group can be “Accountable” for any task to avoid confusion.
